This is the best Architect light for the price I've encountered so far. It provides a decent range of brightness levels with the brightest being extremely bright and is perfect for illuminating close work. The range of colour levels ranges from "reading before you go to sleep orangey yellow" to daylight without any hint of blue light. It's easy to put together with more screws supplied than you need to assemble it (it only uses two screws) and assembly is no more difficult than gently pulling the exposed cable running through the stand to allow the sections to slot together (leave a bit of slack cable so the joints can bend without straining the cable), then you just use the screwdriver provided to screw in the two retaining screws. If I have any criticism it is that because of it's height there is a certain amount of vertical movement when you first press the power button but hardly a major issue as it stabilises within a couple of seconds and I've not noticed any movement while working with it. The clamp used to clamp the unit to the desk provides a really firm base for the light. The power pack is separate, has a usefully long cable that plugs directly into the cable running through the light. The light also looks really smart on the desktop. The Hapfish after sales service has proven to be really excellent. The light failed recently having only received it 3 weeks before. Instead of complaining about it immediately with a bad review which seems to be a common Amazon buyer trait, I sent them a message they responded within a couple of hours, full of apology for the problem and sorted it out by supplying a replacement unit that I received a few days later. Generally, after sales service with Amazon partners is good but Hapfish's service was really good - and the replacement has behaved impeccably by the way.

I didn't know how bad my previous light settings were before I got this lamps. It's amazing and a game changer. Super easy to fix on the desk and to use, remembers the settings you had previously.... which is great as you don't need to change it constantly. It has different levels of brightness and light temperature. I read somewhere someone mentioning its getting hot.. however I really cannot say that, and I have the light on for 8+ hours daily.. the LED lights stay cool and not overheating at all. It's absolutely amazing quality and a treat for my eyes. It really helps me as I work daily 8 hours and my eyes are no longer in pain. Highly recommended and I'd definitely buy again. Also I can say the light is very steady.. it is not wobbly if you are at the desk typing etc.. it stays in one place. Fantastic product.

Noticed there's a few reviews saying the installation is limited because the clamp bracket can only face one way. Just to clarify, this isn't accurate. You can easily unplug and rotate the clamp bracket to mount the lamp forwards or backwards (fortunately, as this was the only application that would work for me). I rotated the clamp 180 degrees and attached this to the windowsill infront of my desk with ease. The only downside with this design is the length of the arms can't be adjusted which means if you have a low screen height you might have trouble getting the light exactly where you want it. It's also a shame that the light unit at the top doesn't have its own adjustable hinge so you could fine tune the angle once you've got it at the right height above your screens, but you can't have everything for this price. All in all it's a good product with enough adjustability to work for 90% of desk setups.

If you have found yourself needing more light to see your workspace/desk then I can recommend this. It was a 2 minute job to assemble and the build quality is excellent. The lamp is flawlessly finished and the design is sleek and stylish. I have this lamp clamped to my desk behind a 27" and a 32" monitor. When vertical the 2 lower sections stand 650mm above my desk (and above the tops of both monitors - the highest of which is 630mm above the desk). The 3rd and shortest section extends horizontally a further 200mm and allows illumination of the desk area immediately in front of the monitors. The 2 lamp arms can be pivoted individually through 90 degrees and enable a large amount of flexibility of how wide an area on the desk that can be illuminated. The diffuser covering the LED's provides a "smooth and pleasant light", ensuring you don't get blinded by "naked" LED's. The joints operate very smoothly but need firm pressure to adjust. This is a good thing as there is no chance of them folding under the weight of the lamp. The Lamp itself is operated by touch sensitive controls that work well. Brightness and Colour Temperature can be adjusted to suit your needs and the timer is a handy bonus. There are cheaper lamps available but buy this, buy once and be happy. HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED.

Is een enorm fijne lamp. Er zijn 5 lichtstanden en 5 lichtsterktes. Overdag met te weinig licht is ie heel goed te gebruiken. en in de avond geeft ie gewoonweg genoeg licht om te kunnen doen wat je wilt. Stel je lichtsterkte in en je kunt.

I like this light for a couple of reasons. The light is Dimmable, I only sometimes want the brightest light at my desk and this light provides just the right amount of light for whatever task I do. It also has a bright white light to warm tone light which I like. I haven't used the timer or the auto function yet, but I can see where they would come in handy. I also like the length of the light as I have a large desk that spreads the light over the whole desk. The length of the stem allows the light to stand over my monitors with ease. The controls are right up front and easy to access. I would purchase this light again if needed.

Die Helligkeit ist echt gut, die Farbtemperaturen gut abgestuft und durch das drehen der Lampenflügel kann mann sich das Licht auch mal näher ranholen. Mein Kind ist sehr zufrieden, die Bedienung ist intuitiv simpel und funktional. Befestigung ist ebenfalls kinderleicht. Optisch ist die Lampe hübsch und stabil ist sie auch.
