This light is absolutely fantastic, I'm actually annoyed that I didn't get one earlier! I've been working from home for the past three years and I've had issues with eye strain with the monitor that my work have provided. I've purchased different lamps to go on my desk to help with this but nothing seems to have worked... until this! It fits very well on my 27" monitor, to be honest, you don't even notice it. It's so good that my girlfriend tried it and she now wants one too! There's multiple different variations of lighting which is a nice touch. You can dim it whenever you want. It plugs in via USB (which can be from your laptop or elsewhere), and is a great addition to anyone's set up. For all of you who are working from home, this is exactly what you need. It's brilliant.

Initially got this for my partner who works from home and is on the computer most of the day. Initalliy, seemed happy with it. Didn't feel as a secure as he would have liked on his monitor, but did find the light did make looking at the screen a little easier on the eyes. Ultimately chose not to use it because he uses multiple screens. I took it with me to work as there are point I need to use my computer or my laptop with the lights off (drama studio during performances). Ideal in that situation so that I can still see my screen during blackouts. The adjustable brightness does make it ideal for those moments without making it look jarring in blackouts. The ability to change the temperature of the light also helps, as the warmer light is better suited to my line of work, where the brighter, whiter light was more suited for my partner. I have also found it isn't as secure fitting on my laptop as I would like, so I do have to be careful not to bump it. Easy to set up, connected to the computer by the USB cord. The button control on the front makes it easy to adjust to your preference and control the temperature and brightness. As seen in other reviews, a remote would be a nice addition, especially as touching the light can knock it off balance.

First Impressions: Sleek, minimal design. Clips securely to the top of the monitor without blocking the screen. Feels high-quality with a matte black finish. Usage: Gives a soft, adjustable light that reduces glare on the monitor. The touch controls are responsive. Great for working late without lighting the whole room. The brightness and colour temp settings cover a good range. Cleaning or Maintenance: Dusts off easily with a microfibre cloth. My Cons: Needs a USB port free on your PC or monitor. The clip doesn’t fit very thick monitors. Conclusion: Excellent addition for anyone working at a desk after dark. Brightness is easy to adjust, and it frees up desk space compared to a lamp.

Coming boxed this opens IMMEDIATELY to a better monitor light than the one its replacing. The mix of aluminium and plastics means its solid incase you bump it and it drops down. The angle of the light is way better being a more channeled degree you highlight just your desk or screen and not a some of the screen and some of the desk like others and moreso its far clearer when on the monitor. The part where its just destroyed the other light (now on my second monitor) is it has controls on the light itself! So many put the controls onto the cable like it was running off an LED strip giving you a nice choice on warmth and brightness. My only complaint which isnt a fault of the light as its just the change of tech is my main monitor is a 34inch ultra wide which it illuminates perfectly but being bezeless means the "hook" is putting the weight onto the screen so worth noting for this with a newer more modern monitor.

Yeelight Monitor Light Bar I am really glad that I came across this monitor light bar, it is so much better than the Led light that I had been using which was to my right hand side and a couple of feet (60cm) from my keyboard. This sits on top of your monitor and due to its sleek design, you hardly know it is there. It has a reasonable weight to it which holds in place very well. The touch buttons are easy to see and work very well. A short touch changes the settings like dimming in chunky steps. However, if you keep your finger in the button, it gives stepless dimming and stepless colour temperature changes, so you can adjust it to your exact requirements. On full brightness the light draws close to 1 Amp of power so in my opinion it is best plugged into a dedicated USB power supply such as a plug top USB adaptor. That said, it will work ok from a USB 3.0 computer socket, but I would check the actual output capability of these sockets on your computer first, so as not to overload them. Better safe than sorry. I was a little concerned that I would get a lot of light reflections on the screen with the light being so close to the screen, but amazingly there is nothing noticeable at all. I currently have a 21″ monitor, but I am confident it will work just as well on the 27″ monitor I hope to get soon. It probably will be ok even on a 32″ monitor. This really is a great well designed light that does help with eyestrain. I wish I had found it sooner.

This monitor light bar works really well. My monitor and TV (both thin) are non-glare, and the light doesn't interfere with any visuals onscreen once placed properly along the top. The light illuminates the area in front of the monitor well, even on the lowest brightness level; I'm still pretty impressed by the effect of it. The 4 touch buttons are responsive, visible and simple to use; each one has an icon to show function. It's really sleek and made with quality materials. I've noticed both the touch panel and light bar (including metal housing) stay fingerprint free. My eyes no longer feel fatigued now that I can clearly see without my eyes having to adjust when I look away from the monitor. I'm very happy with it and could not go without using it now.

This light bar is really good. I got this for my macbook as there are times were I am working late at night and need some light. The light is really bright and there are some features that i love about this light bar. Its really bright and there are different modes that you can choose in order to adjust it to your desired preference. The one thing that needs some working on is how the lowest setting of light is too low. But overall this bar is very good and doesnt obstruct your view of the monitor. It also doesnt damage anywhere you'll mount it on so I recommend you get this if you are looking for a light bar if you are looking for something that is very efficient and durable and something that wont damage your computer or monitor
