This is less a review and more of a PSA for anyone looking into buying this item - this is a smart light device first, and a PC accessory a very distant second. I imagine many of you like me look at this and think it'd be a cool addition to your setup and make the fair assumption that it should just plug in to the PC and work, like any other Razer chroma device - but you would be sorely mistaken. This product is meant primarily to be plugged into a mains through a AC Adapter - not provided, and this is given away by the fact it comes with a USB-C cable, not the normal USB A most razer devices do. What you plug it in too does nothing more than provide it power, so if you do plug it into your PC, dont expect it to connect to synapse immediately and sync with your other devices - don't be silly. If you plug it into your PC it will work, but odds are, you'll be told by Synapse that the power is insufficient and it will only work at half brightness - because, as I said, the cable is only meant to provide power, not transfer data. Now you *can* set it up in Synapse regardless and sync it with your devices, but to do this you have to suffer through the biggest bugbear I have with this device - you MUST use the Razer Gamer Room app, which is just like any other smart home app such as Google Home and comes with all the same trappings, for better or worse. Despite multiple attempts, the app would simply not connect to my device, giving a generic "Something went wrong" error, with no error code or anything to follow up with - this already after having to factory reset the device everytime I tried to connect because if i didnt do that, the app simply wouldnt even find the device in the first place. I eventually managed to get around this with an answer on a random reddit thread explaining how to get past this issue that Razer offer no support for - by plugging the device directly into your phone/tablets slot, and then searching for it! This worked, but it is absolutely obscene that I had to go to these lengths just to get the product to work in the most basic sense and functionality, and that I needed a random reddit hero to let me know this, rather than any official Razer documentation. Once you're synced to the app, you can then let Synapse take control by detecting the device through Synapse itself. This part is mercifully very easy, but I am sad to say the issues do not stop there. You see, for some absolutely unknown, baffling reason - when connect via Synapse, the touch screen control buttons on the device all stop working except for the power switch, meaning all control now needs to be done through Synapse itself...and for whatever reason, Synapse does not allow you to turn the front white light on or off. Want control over the white light? Need to disconnect from Synapse and lose any sync with your other devices. Want sync? Lose control over the white light. It is absolutely mind blowing how nonsensical this is and how frustrating it makes the product. I can live with terrible setup as long as when the device is finally ready, it works as intended, but this one issue drags the product down so much I cant in good conscience give more than two stars. Which is a shame because the product *is* good. The backlight is strong and looks great in the dark, combined with certain Chroma settings such as Ambient Awareness it does amazing things to elevate the mood and atmosphere of a game and makes your setup so much more immersive, and the front light - when it can be turned on, is unbelievably bright at 100%, like a floodlight at a stadium, so it more than does it job in that regard, allowing you to use it more for productivity than gaming if you wanted too. It's expensive for what it does, but it is a fun and neat addition to your setup if you have the cash to spare for this sort of thing. It just suffers massively from absolutely baffling design decisions and the infuriating dependency on the Razer Gamer Room app which feels like unnecessary bloatware, poorly made and a detriment to everything that is good about this product. If this product just plugged in to your PC and worked like any other Razer device, or even if it allowed you to just control the white light whilst Synapse was in control, I could give it a couple more stars, but because it cant and doesnt, it just feels like it fundamentally fails at the things most people would rightfully expect to use it for. If you can go through the above hassle and understanding - get it, it's a good product at the end of it, but I just want you to know before you buy it, that this product is probably not what you think it is, and you have to basically force it to be a PC accessory rather than a smart light device - even though it is A LITERAL MONITOR LAMP, FOR COMPUTER MONITORS. You have got to do better than this Razer, one of the best parts of your products is the synchronicity and the way your devices all work together, and if you're going to design a device like this, a device specifically meant to be used as part of a PC setup, then you have got to make it work like your other devices.

Bellissima, purtroppo ho dovuto fare il reso perché la luce è troppo forte sia davanti che dietro. (nonostante la tenessi al minimo). L'unica pecca che devi fare per forza tutto dall'app del cellulare.
