I tried to set these up and kind of failed, they seem reasonably good but just too technical for me, I will have to get someone with a bit of tech savvy to install them. This is not necessarily a product issue, I am not the most tech savvy person in the world. Once I have seen how it's done I'm sure I will be fine with them.

The media could not be loaded. My first impressions are - where are the instructions? Opening up the box for the first time I was struck that there were no obstructions and it initially looked quite daunting. It’s fortunate that it’s fairly intuitive in how to set this up however. Moving on however this is a decently priced light strip and light bars which will no doubt add a touch of ambiance and immersion to movie nights. In the box are a couple of light bars and an LED light strip along with the power box that it all connects to. The light strip is attached to the TV by way of the sticky tape on its back. I have to say however that the stickiness of the light strip was poor. I had to use my own tape to make sure that it was secure. The light bars come in their own little stands but as my TV is up on the wall I stuck the light bars on the back of my tv with double sided tape and this worked fine Before sticking on the strip it’s important to download the smart life app which then tells you which side the strips have to go - you sync the lights with the app - I already have a number of items that the app operates so it’s pretty familiar for me. You can then do a test to make sure which way the light strip needs to be stuck on the TV. This is where instructions would have been useful. Once this is all set up this is a rather nice TV backlight. It offer a wide range of colours and effects including 16 million colour options. You can have the lights on a particular colour or have them on some pre-set scenes or even have them synced to the music and the screen (I have yet to work out how to sync the lights with what is showing on screen) Everything is controlled by the smart life app. I would have however liked a separate remote control with it as well but it’s not a big problem. Overall this TV backlight offers a feature-rich way to enhance your home TV experience. The color options, Wi-Fi connectivity, app control, and music/movie sync features are all useful. Add to this I think that this is reasonably priced and this is a good item. Little things like the weak adhesion on the light strip and the lack of instructions and a remote control keep this at a 4 star rather than a 5 star one.
