After years of working in the control room at various theatres, I have become accustomed to a much dimmer working environment with tightly focussed warm-coloured task lights. Combined with dark themes on my software and desktop, I have noticed a massive reduction in eye strain. This light is a great task light when the keyboard is your only physical task, or in combination with a desk lamp that is focussed on your paperwork. There are lots of adverts around for "super-bright" and "daylight" lights, which are all the opposite of what I want. In fact, finding a light that is gentle on the eyes can very tricky. This light is capable of searingly bright, cold-coloured light but is also capable of the kind of light I want. I suspect the dimmest, warmest extent of this light will be too extreme for some but it suits me well. The beam shape and penumbra are just right to cover the keyboard with only a small amount of spill. The swivel feature means that it can be angled to miss the screen completely while illuminating the keyboard fully. I prefer this kind of lighting to back-lit keys as i am almost fully a touch-typist but still need to glance down occasionally so need an easy way to aim fingers at keys; the function keys and top-row number keys in particular are nowhere near burned into my muscle memory. With back-lit keys, my size 10 hands cover up most of the illumination, thus defeating the purpose of such keys. The body of the light feels as though it has been milled from a solid piece of metal so I am confident it will survive well in my work bag alongside my laptop and all the other bits and bobs that make up my portable office. The blurb and photos indicate that the light is intended for desktop monitors but I am actually using it on my laptop. It works well for me. I have a portable power supply anyway for when I am away from mains power for extended periods and, if I use that instead of taking power from my laptop, I can work for a long time while still leaving spare power in my laptop for later. For shorter stints, taking power from my laptop is not a problem.

I know there are a lot of options out there, but for this price range this Quntis model turned out to be brilliant (no pun intended, honest!) and just what I needed. I have it on my 28" BenQ display and it works a treat, the ON/Off button responds to the slightest brush/touch, and it is plugged into my PC USB - i Haven't experienced any issues using the buttons on the light. I don't have it on all the time, just when I in meetings (WFH) or at night and need to see the keyboard & desktop without turning on the room lights. You know, it is one of those things you don't really need, but once you have it you wonder how you survived for so long without it... a great idea and so much more efficient than using the room lights (in this room there are 4 lights that come on), so this is modestly saving energy use, while giving lots of convenience in lighting just what I need. I'm loving it! I'm not sure if a remote control would be any use for me, so if I had to buy another one I would probably still just save money and go for the touch button style like this.... your mileage might vary, but for me it wasn't worth it spending more to get a remote.

Upon opening the box I had high hopes and as I expected I was greeted with very high quality materials and helpful manuals. The product features 4 different temperature modes, 4 different brightness options and all with soft touch buttons (no cheap clicking sounds) and a usb C to usb A (2.0) cable however I have a very irregular shaped monitor so it is not very sturdy and I have to be cautious about pressing the buttons too hard, also it is quite bulky I would have liked it to be a bit more low profile for the price. Overall this product is good value for money and i would recommend buying to friends/ family. And I would shop with Quintis again

To finish my new setup I was after a light bar for my new curved 34' monitor, just to keep things cosy whilst sat at my desk. I was always put off by the price of the well known maker of these lights so I did some research. I came across this make, Quntis.. not only a great name to say but it seems a very positive feedback was given by all that purchased it. I bit the bullet and ordered myself the light and as you can see from the picture, it's a great addition to my setup. The light feels good in quality, is easy to install and comes with the all important puck to change the warmth and strength of the light. Es una gran opción por el precio, tiene 4 niveles de brillo y 4 tonos de luz para ajustar por lo que puedes adecuarlo para sentirte más cómodo o utilizar el control automático para que la intensidad se ajuste a tu espacio e iluminación. El mecanismo que tiene para sujetarse del monitor se siente bien, con la fuerza suficiente para no soltarse pero tampoco para dañar el monitor. Al pasar una buena cantidad de tiempo frente al monitor puedo notar que ayuda a reducir el efecto de fatiga visual, el nivel de brillo más bajo es en realidad muy tenue y el más alto es bastante potente, por lo que generalmente lo uso en el segundo o tercer nivel.

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Quntis Light Bar, and I am absolutely by far surprised that something for this price is this good! The installation was incredibly simple. It provides a soft, adjustable light that is easy on the eyes, which is ideal for reducing screen glare during late-night work sessions and my gaming marathons. The controller is super responsive allowing to change between brightness and color temperature a breeze. The feature I appreciate most is the ability to customize the lighting to suit different tasks, whether it's reading, working, or just relaxing. Overall, the Quntis Light Bar has significantly improved my desk setup. It’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
